ECC – Day 6…last day at school!

Day 6 saw students studying hard….and riding camels!

Students enjoyed their morning class, (Akari said that she enjoyed the ‘What Am I’ game the most) before heading out to the beach for their camel ride.

Haruka thought that camel riding was the best activitiy, though some students had a little ‘saddle soreness’.  Yuji said he had a comformtable camel to ride…lucky you!

After the group got back to school, they received their certificates for their study here in Noosa.

It was a short stay, but students had the full Noosa experience!

ECC – Day 5

A trip to the Zoo, and a taste of Australian culture…Students had a full day activity today, and enjoyed the break from study.  First up, they went to Australia Zoo. In the afternoon, it was time to learn about Aboriginal Culture.

Nana:  I liked the koala the best!  But there were also many other cute animals!

Misaki:  I really enjoyed Australia Zoo, where I say the Crocodiele Show and held a koala for the first time in my life.

Akari:  I saw a biiiiiiiig snake, a red fox, kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, iguanas and many colourful birds.  They were very beautiful.

The Aborginal Cultural experience gave students an appreciation of the long history of Australia’s first people.  Students heard a Dreamtiem story, and had the chance to paint the animals they saw earlier in the day in ochre paint.

Nana particularly enjoyed the Aboriginal cultural experince.  She wanted to do more!

ECC – Days 3 and 4…a Sunshine Coast Christmas!

Students spent Christmas and Boxing Days with their host families.  They were two days full of surprises!

Daiki said that he was amazed with the lifestyle in Australia, with experiences such as driving a speedboat on Noosa River, enjoying a swimming pool at home and spending time with his host family.

Thank you very much Mr and Mrs Vina for taking Yuki and Daikii!

ECC – Day two

After a great sleep, students were all refreshed and ready for action today!

It was fun fun fun! The students all had a great time at the Beach with Cass and Kiyo…though Tour Leader Daisuke was clearly excited more than students.

Daiki, Yuji, Misaki, Akari, Haruka, Nana, Saano, well done! You played so well!

Who was the winner for the Digging stick game? The Daisuke and Nana team!  Don’t forget your stick next time!!!

Welcome ECC!

Welcome ECC Study Tour!

They looked exhausted when they arrived in Noosa after traveling more than 24 hours from home.

GV staff welcomed the group on their arrival!  Fortunately, they managed to brighten up and complete their first lesson.

They finally met their host families in the evening. They all looked so excited to meet their host families.
