Today our TAP students had a good time learning boxing techniques at the gym. They were joined by kickboxer and boxing trainer Billy, who showed them a few moves. The kids started off by warming up, jogging around the room, playing tag, and ‘dodge the flying glove!’. Once they were good and warmed-up, they broke off into pairs and learned how to punch! Billy showed them the three important boxing techniques: The jab. The hook. And the uppercut! The students had a good time taking turns with the gloves and the pads, and thoroughly enjoyed punching each other (safely!). Thanks Billy!
