Lexis Perth – A recap of TAP July/August 2025
We welcomed 26 students to Lexis Perth over the 6 week TAP program this year. These students came from Spain, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Korea.
The students all embraced the experience with open arms and loved exploring Perth and meeting other students from all over the world.
Every morning was focused on learning English
The students were all so dedicated and engaged in their English classes where they mixed with other nationalities and were pushed out of their comfort zones to really improve their English. It was fantastic to see their confidence build and their English improve - Well Done to everyone!
After lnch the students ventured out for some fun, some of the highlights from the afternoon activities were....

It has been a fun filled 6 weeks and the students have left us some wonderful feedback
"My favourite activities were Cavershame Wildlife Park beacuse I touched kangaroos, the beach and Bounce. Staying in a host family was really interesting, the dinner was tasty and I enjoyed having conversations with the family in English. We talked a lot during dinner time. I was surprised that I was only allowed to have a 5 minute shower. I really enjoyed Lexi Perth! I am very happy to come to Perth. Everything is new for me and I had a great experience!" "I enjoyed spending time with teacher Ben. The beach was the best. Nice view and nice ice cream!! I enjoyed the Aquarium too. I had a really good time with my host family; they listened carefully to what I was talking about and took me to many places. I really appreciate it. We were sad to see all the Teenagers leave last week but hope to see them back in the future

About the Lexis TAP Program:
TAP offers a fun mix of academic, cultural and sporting activities to international junior students. All activities are fully supervised by trained and qualified instructors, and parents are invited to check in each day at www.lexisjuniors.com to keep up with all the fun!

Lexis Perth - Kindai High School - 21 July to 2 August 2025
Welcome to Kindai High School
We had 20 Kindai Highschool students arrive at Lexis Perth on Monday afternoon. After a long flight they were happy to arrive at school and meet their host families.
With nervous expectations, the students left school with their new Australian families where they will live for the next two weeks. It is always daunting first meeting and trying to feel comfortable in a homestay family's home, but the students all had fun and exciting stories to report back on their first day of school. Students compared the meals they ate for dinner and the houses they were living in. One student describing their host families house as being "like a hotel!" Other comments included "my host goes to bed so early" .... "they eat dinner at 5pm" .... "I got to have ice cream and watch TV"
First Day Testing
As the students embarked on their first day of school, they had to sit a placement test and have a small speaking test with a teacher. First day nerves where present but these nerves were soon forgotten, once they joined class and started to make new friends from all over the world.
Day 1 activity - Australian Painting
After a big day of testing and study, the students got to relax with some Australian craft. The students got to choose if they wanted to paint an Australian animal to take home or if they wanted to explore Australian dot painting and paint a boomerang. They had lots of fun expressing their creative side and lots of laughter and conversations were had.
We look forward to following their 2-week adventure in Perth. Next up we have a competitive Table Tennis competition to finish off Day 2!
Lexis Perth is a vibrant campus, with junior students from all over the world currently studying with us. We have both study tours and the Teenage Activity Program on campus currently.

Lexis Perth - Study Group - July 2025
Welcome to the BEST group from Reunion Island
We have welcomed 16 students from Reunion Island to Lexis Perth for 3 weeks. The students are having a wonderful time making new friends, whilst studying English, exploring Perth and Western Australia and enjoying the emersion of living with a local Australian family. We hope you all have a wonderful stay, and we can't wait to see what adventures you get up to!
Memorable Adventurous Junior Holiday Program at Lexis English – March 2024
Lexis Juniors take on Sydney, Perth and the Sunshine Coast!
Teen Activity Programs (TAP) are designed to take learning from the classroom and out into the real world! With a range of sporting, cultural, social and sightseeing activities available, junior students with any range of interests can blend their language learning experience with all the excitement that can be found in our unique study locations.
In March, we welcomed a wonderful group of Junior students to Lexis Sydney, Perth and Sunshine Coast!
The TAP students developed their English skills and made new friends in class as well as taking part in a fun-filled calendar of activities outside of the classroom!
The students explored Sydney, visiting the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, Madame Tussauds and the stunning Blue Mountains! In Perth the students experienced Kings Park and Water Town, Freemantle Markets, and Perth Zoo! On the Sunshine Coast, our junior students spent time Surfing, Kayaking and Stand Up Paddle Boarding on the Maroochy River and challenged themselves at a High Ropes Adventure Park!
In all locations, the students also immersed themselves in Aussie culture by learning Aussie Slang and tasting some iconic Aussie snacks! The students expressed their awesome creativity in our art activities including Boomerang Painting and Clay Sculpting, plus many more fun activities!
The TAP students were welcomed with open arms by our caring homestay families and had an amazing time living with the hosts who made them feel at home here in Australia.
It was a fantastic experience for all involved, and we are excited to welcome many nationalities from across the world for our July and August activity programs. Join us for this life-changing experience at Lexis English!
