Week 3 of the Teen Activity Program (TAP) at Lexis English Noosa was another action-packed adventure filled with cultural discovery, outdoor fun, and unforgettable Aussie moments. From traditional Aboriginal experiences to scenic kayaking and creative upcycling, our international students had the chance to make new friends, build language skills, and soak up everything Noosa has to offer!

🌿 Monday: Discovering Aboriginal Culture – The Spirit of Australia
We started the week with a deep dive into Australia’s rich Aboriginal heritage. Students explored the powerful history behind the didgeridoo—Australia’s ancient wind instrument—and even got a chance to play it themselves! The unique sounds, storytelling, and spiritual energy created an unforgettable cultural experience that truly brought Australian history to life.
🛶 Tuesday: Kayaking on the Noosa River & Sweet Birthday Surprises
On Tuesday, the adventure moved to the water as students took part in an exciting kayaking session at Gympie Terrace. With calm river views, sparkling fish beneath us, and pelicans soaring overhead, it was a perfect day to explore the natural beauty of Noosa. To make it even more special, we celebrated Mia’s birthday Aussie-style—with delicious lamingtons, laughter, and group fun!

♻️ Wednesday: Upcycling Magic – Turning Old Tees into Trendy Bags
Midweek creativity took off with a sustainable twist. Students turned old t-shirts into cool, reusable bags in our eco-friendly upcycling workshop. Not only was it fun and fashion-forward, but it also encouraged sustainability and green thinking—values we love to promote at Lexis English.

🏖 Thursday: Beach Tennis with an International Coach
Sun, sand, and sport came together on Thursday during our beach tennis session led by a pro international coach! Students picked up new skills, played friendly matches, and shared laughs in the gorgeous Noosa sunshine. It was a fantastic blend of fitness, culture, and international flair!

🍔 Friday: Community BBQ & Outdoor Cinema Vibes
To wrap up this incredible week, we held a school-wide community BBQ at the park, bringing together students from around the globe to share food, stories, and smiles. The grand finale? A cozy movie night under the stars, complete with popcorn and chilled vibes—a perfect end to an unforgettable week at Lexis Noosa.
