Week 6 of TAP Noosa was packed with sunshine, adventure, and creativity as students immersed themselves in nature and Aussie culture. From scenic hikes and beach games to hands-on learning experiences and artistic challenges, each day brought something new and exciting. Here’s a look back at the highlights from our unforgettable week in this coastal paradise.
Monday – Noosa National Park Walk
We started the week immersed in nature with a scenic walk through Noosa National Park. Surrounded by coastal bushland, ocean views, and the sound of waves crashing below, students followed the trail while spotting wildlife and soaking in the beauty of the area. It was a peaceful and refreshing way to connect with the natural side of Noosa.
Tuesday – Sand Sculpture Competition
Creativity took centre stage on Tuesday during our sand sculpture competition. Working in teams, students built everything from sea creatures to castles — some even added fun storytelling to their creations! The beach was buzzing with imagination, and the judges were impressed (and occasionally hilarious). It was a fantastic day of fun and teamwork.
Wednesday – HQ Zoo & Shopping at Noosa Plaza
On Wednesday, we headed to HQ Zoo to meet some of Australia’s iconic animals. Students enjoyed up-close encounters and learned more about local wildlife and conservation. Afterwards, we took a trip to Noosa Plaza for some relaxed shopping and snacks — well-balanced day of discovery and downtime.
Thursday – Beach Tennis with a Pro!
Thursday brought a sporty twist with a beach tennis session. With the sand beneath our feet and the ocean breeze in the air, students learned techniques from a professional and had a blast rallying back and forth. It was a fun and active way to enjoy the beach while picking up some new skills.
Friday – Aussie BBQ in the Park
We wrapped up the week with a classic Aussie BBQ in one of Noosa’s beautiful local parks. Surrounded by nature and good company, students relaxed, played games, and enjoyed a delicious lunch fresh off the grill. It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of an exciting and memorable week.
