Week 5 of TAP Noosa

Monday – Wildlife Show at Campus

It was a busy morning welcoming new students from a far. The wildlife show was educational, and unforgettable. It helped us learn more about Australia’s unique animals whilst appreciating their beauty. These Teens got the full Aussie animal experience whilst some of them only stepping foot off the plane the day before! It was a great first day to connect with nature, no one would believe crocs are scary with this many smiles around… We look forward to the week of fun ahead.

Tuesday – Tye Dye T-Shirts

Our activity gave students the opportunity to express their creativity while learning a fun hands-on craft that everyone could enjoy. The excitement began as students chose their favourite colours and experimented with different folding techniques. From spirals and stripes to unique abstract patterns, every shirt became a one-of-a-kind creation. It was wonderful to see students planning their designs, helping one another, and eagerly waiting to discover the final results.

Wednesday – SEA Life World

Our TAPS headed to SEA Life World where they were surrounded by the huge tanks filled with colourful fish, graceful stingrays, fascinating sharks, and glowing jellyfish. Walking through the underwater tunnel was definitely one of the highlights of the day. From appreciating natures beauty under the sea, to conversing with new friends, the arvo bought new connections for these teens.

Thursday – Mug Cup Painting

There is something magical about watching a blank space transform into a personalized masterpiece. Our TAPS got creative either designing something which represented their personalities, Australia, and each students name of the class hand signed on their mug. It felt totally special to always be reminded of our class mates here at Noosa. And a great souvenir to take back home.

Friday – Graduation & Fish & Chips Lunch at Noosa Surf Club

We finished off the week by celebrating all the hard work our TAPS have learnt in their classrooms and congratulated them on completing their time at Lexis with an English Certificate! We finished off the arvo by a short stroll down to Noosa Main Beach for Fish & Chips at The Surf Club. It was bitter sweet as our teens shared their favourite memories made, school activities and planning meet ups for the future. We wish them the best of luck and get ready for another full week of fun in the sunshine at Lexis.
