Week 9 of TAP Noosa – Stand Up Paddleboarding, Tye Dye T Shirts, Surfing, National Park Walk, Graduation
Monday – Stand Up Paddleboarding
For all of our students this was a completely new experience. As our time on the water continued our TAPS grew with confidence. There was lots of laughter, many wobbles, and not to mention a few fallings off into the water! By the end of our session our students had mastered standing up and paddling. Everyone stepped out their comfort zone and made new memories with international friends here on the Noosa River.
Tuesday – Tie Dye T-Shirts
No two T-shirts looked exactly the same, reflecting the different personalities and creative styles within the group. Our TAPS thought carefully about their shirts before applying the dye, knowing the final pattern would be a surprise once the rubber bans were removed!
Wednesday – Surfing
Some of the students were already confident in the water, while others were trying surfing for the first time – and what an experience! Trying something new, in a new country, can be challenging. But with the encouragement and support from our fellow TAPS, they were absolute pro’s in no time! Every wave bought smiles, laughter and more memories to keep of Noosa.
Thursday – National Park Walk
The combination of the bright blue sky, green trees, rocky coastline and glistening crystal water makes the landscape feel almost unreal. The National Park is easy to understand why Noosa is such a special place. To take in these views so close to our Campus our TAPS were smiling all the way and admired the beautiful scenery! With TAP Season nearly at an end the group discussed their favourite things from their time here at Lexis. From experiencing new cultures from new friends, funny times in the Classroom, dinners at Homestay.
Friday – Graduation & Last Day of Term!
For our students, this term has been about so much more than lessons. It has been about friendships, new experiences, laughter, challenges and discovering what it means to belong to a community made up of people from different corners of the world. Graduation morning was filled with pride and celebration. Our teens worked so hard, grew in confidence and made memories that will stay with them long after they leave Campus. Over the course of the term, students who arrived as strangers have become friends for life. They have shared activities, played sports, studied together, laughed, and supported each other every day. They have learned about each other’s cultures, languages and traditions, while discovering just how much they have in common.
Our Lexis Campus here in Noosa will feel a much quieter place… Congratulations to all our amazing students of 2026.
